Editorial standards
The Daily Canberra reports on Canberra independently. We attribute every claim, separate fact from opinion, seek a right of reply before publication where appropriate, and disclose any conflict of interest.
Sourcing
Every story links to original sources. We summarise and link rather than republish third party copy. Where artificial intelligence has been used to help compile a story, this is disclosed on the article and a named human reporter remains responsible.
Imagery
We use real photographs that we own, licence or are entitled to republish, with appropriate credit. We do not publish AI generated imagery.
Comments
We do not host public comments at launch. Tips and feedback can be sent via our contact page.
Corrections policy
If we get something wrong we will correct it promptly, mark the article as updated and note the correction at the bottom of the story. To request a correction, email the newsroom via contact.
